Sacred Beings Empty Sacred Beings

Sacred Beings are those who are born with a powerful birthright, be it a gift possessed by no other, or to be the vessel for an Ancient to do their bidding on D'Joran.

The Luminara: A demi-goddess revered mainly by Lycans, Candis and Vulpines. Often sharing some genetic trait with the Ancient Luminos, who fathered the first Luminara, Luriette, when he fell in love with a mortal Lycan of Far Mist. When a Luminara is killed or dies, it is not guaranteed that the next child born in the line will become the Luminara. There have only been a small number that were not related to Luminos himself. The most current is a direct descendant, making her one of the strongest in a long time.

The Dvpara: A battle-heavy descendent of a warish Ancient.

The Lumina: The Mother of Wolves. Last of a race of Faewolves, rescued by Luminos from complete annihilation. She is capable of communicating with all wolves and can also dream cast.

Divine Shepherds: Two beings who can only exist in the world together. If one perishes, the other's gifts would be greatly diminished. They balance each other. There is no rhyme or reason to how they are selected or when they awaken. Shepherds possess the gift of healing beyond the means of other healers or the strongest potions. One can even heal a single person from the point of death, while the other can heal large numbers of people at once, but cannot stop death.

The Oracle: Always a descendant of Aeon, a tribe of Nightingales who seem naturally inclined to take on the Ancient Orkla’s gift of sight, because they are closest to her own image. The Oracle often meets a tragic death at a young age due to their gift and either becoming foolhardy or reckless with it. She can see all possible paths and, with help from the Shisha, guides the world down the most beneficial one, even if it's not always the easiest or the happiest. Some Oracles in the past have had their own agendas and used the Shisha in the wrong manner. Most Oracles cannot see their own futures.

The Heart: The living vessel for the Ancient Nour, who imbues the girl with the ability to use her magics and for the Ancient to overtake her body with her spirit when needed.

Vessel of Solace: The living vessel/host for the Ancient Solace, who is also capable of using the Ancients magics and gifts while fulfilling his will.
